In addition to the various sights, this tour will also stop at the locals' favourite pub in Fitzroy. Here you can order your own food and discover for yourself the reason for its fame.

For one thing, you'll learn about Melbourne's history as you cycle. From its Aboriginal origins to the major events that have made it what it is today, such as the Eureka Rebellion of 1854. While many others you'll discover alongside its monuments.

Among these landmarks is the Shrine of Remembrance, a memorial to the nation's greatest war, where you'll learn about William Barrack, an Aboriginal activist and defender of the rights of his civilisation.

    What stands out the most is how well signposted Melbourne is and the facilities given to the cyclist. We were given helmets and we could listen to the guide's explanations without any problem.
